A very popular recipe variety in Japan for miso soup, Spinach and Mushroom Miso Soup.
It is very simple and tastes delicious!
First off, the ingredients list.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
3-4 stalks spinach
4 fresh shiitake mushrooms
4 cups/ 800ml dashi
4 tbsp miso
Recipe:
1. Cut the spinach into 2cm-long pieces.
2. Remove the stems of the shiitake mushrooms and slice thinly.
3. Bring the dashi(pre-made) to a boil. Add the shiitake mushrooms.
4. When the mushrooms are cooked, add the miso and let it dissolve.
5. Add the spinach and cook briefly. Turn off the heat.
6. And serve.
